As part of their continued expansion into component manufacturing, RDD have added a second Drilling Dowelling Combination Machine to their facility.
By adding a second drilling and dowelling combination machine equipped with an expansive 2.3-metre bed, RDD substantially upgrades its machine shop throughput and operational efficiency.
The 2.3-metre bed size allows large-format furniture components, commercial wall panels, and long structural joinery to be processed in a single pass without needing manual re-clamping or secondary setups.
Running two dedicated machines in tandem effectively doubles their processing volume for heavy-duty drilling and dowelling tasks, removing critical production bottlenecks and accelerating assembly line feeding.
This added infrastructure enables RDD to handle higher-volume commercial rollouts and complex bespoke orders with shorter lead times and consistent precision.
