RDD were delighted to be commissioned to undertake the bar and restaurant refurbishment at Zia Nina’s.
Zia Nina is a very popular independent Traditional Italian Restaurant which desperately required a facelift to enhance their ambiance as well as upgrading their bar facilities.
RDD designed and manufactured a new bar to replace the existing bar while acting as a focal point. The restaurant was redesigned to personify a quirky Mediterranean feel, pairing rustic solid wood dinning tables with exposed brick and distressed paintwork.

Zia Nina Project Features a number of distinct areas, including;
Furniture – Up Cycling
Zia Nina wished to keep their existing solid wood tables as one of their main features. RDD design team upcycled the tables by sanding them back and spraying them with a lacquer to give them a sleek new finish.
Chic Deco & Interior design
Authenticity was important to The Zia Nina brand. RDD design team highlighted the Mediterranean feel using rustic colours, incorporating Zia Nina’s strapline;
Buon cibo, buon vino, buoni amici – Good Food, Good Wine, Good Friends
RDD refurbished the restaurant with brick finishing walls, bespoke bar design, stylish cooper light shades and a stunning new look glass reception. We also designed and manufactured in-house a unique glass bottle chandelier spanning two floors, prominently sited to be viewed throughout the building.
Bespoke Bar The in-house Design Team designed and manufactured a bespoke stainless steel bar system, which was finished using weathered & aged wooden effect for the bar frontage and a beautifully aged cooper wrapped style counter top.
